• Sizing - Our experience has been that you can sometimes go down a size from your everyday hoop. For example, Ariana prefers a 42" diameter hoop and uses a 40" LED hoop. When deciding what size to order, keep your choice close to what makes you happiest while hooping.
Sizes available in 7/8” tubing - 40", 38", 36" and 34"diameters.
Sizes available in 1/2" tubing - 38”, 36”, 34” and 32” diameters.
Heavier 1" tubing sizes available upon request are 43”, 42” and 40” - call or email for a custom quote.
• Taping - Each hoop is carefully sanded to add texture and then mirror and fabric tapes are added. Each tape job is specially designed to enhance the light trails and increase ease of handling.
• Sacred Geometry and Color - We artfully arrange our light patterns to enhance wholeness and connection to your body, mind and spirit. We also seek to assist you in choosing the colors that support your creative self-expression in hoop dance and flow harmoniously around your body. Holistic practitioners have found these hoops to be very supportive in color-light therapy.
• Shipping - In the Continental US you will receive your hoop and battery charger separately. Both will be shipped USPS Priority mail. At our discretion, your order may be shipped by UPS and your order will be in one package. Orders will be shipped within two to six weeks of receipt of payment. Should there be a delay, you will be notified immediately. We do ship internationally! Please email us to inquire about international shipping costs for your country and location. Customs policies vary from country to country. You may be subject to customs brokerage fees, import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches your country. You will be responsible for any extra fees incurred and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.

FAQs & Answers to questions you may not even know to ask.
Q: Why should I get a 15 or 20 LED hoop when I could get a 20+? Wouldn’t that be brighter?
A: This is a two-part answer:
The number of LEDs is not an indicator of brightness! All LEDs are NOT created equal. LEDs, even ones of the same size and power draw, have DRASTICALLY varying levels of light output (brightness). At Hooping Harmony, we only use the best and brightest LEDs on the market in our hoops.
Most importantly, Hooping Harmony LED hoops also include additional circuitry to manage the voltage of the batteries over time, which means that Hooping Harmony hoops will maintain their optimum brightness until just before their batteries are empty, while normal LED hoops begin to dim after half their charge. This also insures that our LEDs are always powered to their MAXIMUM brightness.
Q: Most hoops just plug into a universal wall adaptor. Why do you need a Hooping Harmony Smart Charger?
A: Hoops that plug directly into universal wall adaptors have a number of design flaws in their charging technology that ultimately means lower battery lifespan and slower charging times. Over time, these hoops will lose their battery life much quicker than ones charged with a Smart Charger. While a universal wall charger is MUCH cheaper to provide you with your hoop, it would ultimately mean you losing about half the total lifespan of your led hoop.
Hooping Harmony LED hoops come with a separate Smart Charger, which includes a car charger adaptor for easy travel! A Smart Charger provides a fast charge while preventing “overcharge” and maintains the integrity of your batteries. The technology in the Smart Charger also protects your batteries in case of a power surge while you are recharging your hoop.
You can also upgrade to a World Wide Smart Charger, which is an even faster smart charger that allows you to charge your hoops anywhere in the world. You will need to buy a wall adaptor for the country you are in. We guarantee our battery technology to be the best on the market.
Q: How do I charge my hoop, how long does it take for a full charge and do I have to drain my hoop down before recharging?
A: For instructions on how to charge your hoop refer to our LED Use & Care page. If your hoop is almost drained here is an approximate chart of charging times with the two different chargers available. The Standard charger is the one that automatically comes with your hoop unless you upgrade to the faster Worldwide Charger.

You can top off your batteries at anytime because they have no memory effect. To extend the battery life of your hoop DO NOT let your LED hoops drain completely before recharging! Both types of chargers are capable of charging two hoops at the same time.
Q: I know that rechargeable batteries eventually die. When should I expect that from a Hooping Harmony hoop?
A: Hooping Harmony uses NIMH batteries, which have up to 1000 full charge/discharge cycles in them WHEN CHARGED PROPERLY THROUGH A SMART CHARGER. We estimate that Hooping Harmony hoops will get up to 900 charge cycles. (Around 2500 hours of spin!)
For most other LED hoops, the voltage of the batteries eventually drops after a few hundred cycles. This means your hoop will be unable to obtain the brightness it had when it was new and will become dimmer over time.
Hooping Harmony’s LED hoops have technology that electronically manages the voltage (power) that the LEDs receive, which means your hoop will maintain full brightness for the life of the hoop. As you use your hoop, expect that after 500+ charges, you might have about 20% less run time than when it was new – but the LEDs will still be just as bright!
Q: Are your hoops quiet, well balanced and lightweight?
A: Yes. Our hoops are very, very quiet (and durable!) thanks to the insertion of shock-absorbing material in the hoops. They are also made to have excellent balance and weight distribution- our batteries are perfectly arranged around the hoop to give you the same spin that you would get with a non-LED hoop. Unless you choose to customize your hoop with heavier tubing, our hoops come in naturally lightweight 7/8” tubing (feels like 100 psi ¾” inch tubing).
Q: Why do you advertise an ‘internal switch?’ What does this mean to the hoop?
A: Our internal switch means that the part of a normal LED hoop MOST LIKELY TO BREAK is protected within the hoop. This also prevents your hoop from accidentally turning off or on while you are hooping or during a performance.
Q: Just how collapsible are your LED hoops and do you have to tape the connector to make it stay closed?
A: All of our hoops collapse down to approximately 23”- 25” diameter depending on what size hoop you purchase. If you decide to customize your hoop with heavier tubing your hoop will only collapse down to around a 28” diameter. With our special button connector we have made traveling very easy and you don’t have to worry about your hoop flying apart or taping the connector closed. For the long-term health of your hoop, uncoil your LED hoops as soon as possible.
